The conditions are excellent for intermediate - advanced wingfoilers and windsurfers, with very reliable wind stats. The prevailing wind is accelerated by the local ‘Venturi' system as it squeezes between the land masses. The clinics are run on the flat-water side of the beach. The wind has a cross-off direction, meaning that setting off and foiling/planing back towards the beach for gybes is done in really flat water.​​

 

Intermediate wingfoilers will thrive on these clinics. Simon will be working with the group across a range of skills including: kit selection, set up and tuning tips, getting up on the foil early/early planing, pumping, foiling/planing control at speed, tacks and gybes, foot changes and more. Plus relevant snippets of theory to enhance practical understanding. There will be loads of improvements that Simon can help you with as well as new ideas and moves to try.

Clients will participate as windsurfers or wingfoilers.

SWM will be hosting this event at QMSC following on from our highly successful first collaboration in last year. A second 2025 date is scheduled for 16 November.

 

These coaching days are designed for intermediate and advanced wingfoilers. We aim to cover: improved foiling using less effort, gybing, tacking, variations, jumps and aerial freestyle. ​Participants must bring their own kit. Limited kit hire is available for +£75 for board/foil/wing. Message us to pre-book kit.

 

If it is windy, expect to be out on the water pushing your game forwards. If the wind does not show we will deliver shorebased talks and activities to include: tuning, technique, looking at the latest kit designs from Duotone, Starboard & Freewing, Q&A sessions and (time permitting) an exploration into the performance mindset of advanced wingfoiling.​ The day will end with a free draw for some great prizes!
